2 x Factory Machine Operators (Mildura, VIC 3500)$25 – $28/hour
Do you have factory/machinery operation experience? These positions may be for you! We are looking for 2 experienced factory workers to operate colour sorter machines in an almond factory near Mildura, VIC.
The purpose of the colour sorter is to remove foreign material, defects, and generally improve the quality of the almond product (in-shell and kernel). Your role will be predominantly be operating the machine, but you will also need to ensure the working environment stays clean and that all OH&S procedures are followed.

Job Description

You may be suitable for this position if:

·hold a current Australian Forklift licence

·have a good level of literacy skills in orderto understand and complete paperwork

·have a general understanding of computers and Microsoft programs

·have experience operating machinery

·you can handle dusty environments.

·quality control experience desirable but not essential

·Duration: 2-3 months

·Shift: 12 hours – 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am(rotating roster each week)

·Pay: Level 5 – $25 – $28/hour

·You will need to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol test)
