Keen to get your hands dirty and experience Australian farm life? These positions may be for you! We are looking for farm hands to start working on a poultry farm in Hervey Bay, QLD, for 6 to 12 months. No farming experience is required; however animal handling experience would be beneficial.

Job Description

As a poultry attendant your duties will include:
- egg collecting (which requires a lot of bending over)
- shed attendant (checking the food and water dispensing machines)
- bird relocation and disposing of dead birds
- hygiene/cleaning
- egg packing/grading
- completing paperwork

You may be successful for the positions if you:
- have a good level of English
- are physically fit
- are happy to get your hands dirty
- are NOT allergic to dust

Pay: $22.13/hour flat rate
Start: ASAP
Duration: at least 6 months
Roster: day shift; 5-6 days/week; around 35-45 hours/week
